Dolly Parton first entered the theme park industry in 1986 when she joined Herschend Family Entertainment as a partner, transforming a regional park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, into the Dollywood we know today. The sprawling resort destination now attracts approximately three million visitors annually and features:
