Dutch leisure developer, operator and investor Momentum Leisure has announced the launch of Episodia, a new brand identity designed to spearhead its ambitious expansion plans across Central and Eastern Europe.
The strategic rollout will see the company’s three existing and highly successful Majaland parks in Poland, located in Warsaw, Kownaty and Gdańsk, undergo a comprehensive rebranding in spring 2027. Additionally, Momentum Leisure’s upcoming family park in Gliwice, situated in southern Poland, will debut under the Episodia name when it opens in summer 2027.
Since entering the Polish market in 2018, the developer's parks have built a strong reputation around the beloved character Maya the Bee. The transition to Episodia represents a broader vision to create a scalable platform where diverse intellectual properties, worlds and characters can coexist.
Through ongoing collaborations with major international entertainment partners, including Studio 100, Nickelodeon and the Smurfs, Episodia attractions will feature a wide array of globally recognised franchises. Visitors can expect to interact with iconic characters from properties such as SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the Smurfs, alongside Maya the Bee.

Wouter Dekkers, CEO of Momentum Leisure, commented on the announcement:
"Episodia gives us one scalable brand that better reflects what we want to offer: an immersive world of stories, characters and shared family moments across all our locations. It gives us the flexibility to welcome new popular characters, while continuing to build on the strong foundations that have made our parks so successful."
According to the company, the name Episodia is inspired by the concept of episodic storytelling, aiming to position the parks as dynamic hubs where new family adventures begin.
The transformation of the current Majaland properties in 2027 will involve highly visible rebranding efforts, an enhanced overall guest experience and the introduction of a new family attraction at the sites to reinforce the launch. Meanwhile, the new Gliwice location will serve as a showcase for the innovative new concept from day one.
