Heide Park Resort has oficially announced a change in its senior leadership. Jenny Blask has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Northern Germany's largest theme park, as she succeeds Peter Dunn, who is retiring after more than 20 years with the park.
A symbolic key handover took place on 10 July 2026, when Dunn presented the master key for the resort, encompassing the main theme park, the Abenteuerhotel, and the Holiday Camp, to Blask. Her appointment formally took effect on 20 July 2026.
Extensive Industry Expertise
Blask brings over two decades of extensive experience within the leisure sector and Merlin Entertainments. Her background includes four years in senior executive roles directly at Heide Park Resort, providing her with deep operational insight into the destination, its guests, and strategic commercial growth.
Prior to accepting her new post as Managing Director of Heide Park Resort, Blask served as Regional General Manager overseeing multiple SEA LIFE attractions across Europe. Before taking on regional responsibilities, she successfully managed SEA LIFE Hannover for many years.
A Passing of the Baton
Reflecting on his retirement and the handover of leadership to a former colleague, outgoing Managing Director Peter Dunn expressed complete confidence in the future direction of the resort.
